I'm a fashion content creator turned event producer. I love bringing unique and memorable brand experiences to life. With the pandemic fading away, consumers are now craving human interaction, personal connections, and real-life experiences like never before. And that's where I come in! As an introvert (INFJ), I love expressing my inner self through event creation. My passion lies in creating innovative, one-of-a-kind events that foster genuine, meaningful relationships between brands and consumers.
Seven years after moving from Shanghai to Los Angeles, I started sharing my #OOTDs and favorite moments on Instagram and Weibo (a Chinese social platform) in 2017. I never thought that would lead to my first event: an opportunity to host an exclusive Stuart Weitzman event in Beverly Hills. With my primarily Asian following, I helped the store meet its sales goals within a couple of hours.
That experience sparked my interest in events, but it wasn't until I collaborated with Fendi that my love blossomed. I was brought on board to launch the #MyFendiColibri program, a made-to-order experience for the new Colibri shoe. I used my strategic mindset and social media followings to promote both events while showcasing the value Asian-American consumers bring to high-end designer brands. It's all about understanding audiences and delivering experiences that exceed their expectations.
Following these successful events, I acquired more strategic and analytical expertise with a Master's in Digital Social Media at USC. It was one of the best decisions I ever made! I helped several fashion companies penetrate the US market with my newfound expertise. One of the clients was Cider, a trending fashion brand. I was hired from the outset and crafted innovative social media marketing and localization strategies to target young upscale customers in the US.
And the cherry on top? I got to plan and execute the #CiderIRL VIP event, celebrating the brand's first anniversary. I wanted to do something special. So, we created an immersive Cider Bar experience that merged online shopping with real-life engagement. The event was a hit, from the colorful and customized decor to the themed photo booth. Over 30 popular Los Angeles actors, musicians, and models joined the event, mingling with guests and sharing their experiences on social media. The event hashtag, #CiderIRL, generated over 500K impressions, further spreading the word.
But I didn't stop there! Experiential marketing is more than throwing parties. I continued to help fashion and lifestyle brands create meaningful experiences that align with their values.
Picture this: DOGA, the ultimate yoga experience with four-legged friends. I worked with Cupshe, an established beachwear company, to organize a "pawsome" wellness event to launch their new athleisure line. Our 25 guests loved the fun-filled yoga and gifted Cupshe yoga outfits. Their social media posts generated buzz for Cupshe's newest launch and attracted many more upscale Angelenos to join future events.
With my cultural perspective and deep understanding of marketing in the US, I'm here to bring brand awareness to Asian companies while highlighting the untapped market of Asian-American consumers. That's why I'm determined to grow an experiential marketing agency unlike any other.
So, if you're looking to make a splash in the US market or connect with Asian American consumers, I'm your experiential marketing expert! Let's work together to create unforgettable experiences.
